So apparently there's a brouhaha over fifteen-year-old Miley Cyrus' photo shoot for the upcoming issue of Vanity Fair. Is it appropriate for a young girl to be posing so provocatively? Or can Annie Leibovitz's photos be considered art? Is Miley a Lolita, or was she coerced into posing thusly by the photographer and her parents? Do we even want to know why her lipstick is smudged?
I think she looks rather like French ragamuffin Cosette of the famous Les Mis posters. Skinny and pathetic. But definitely not poor.
