London Fall 2008 Fashion Week - Basso & Brooke

British designer Christopher Brook and Brazilian Bruno Basso create eclectic fashions which incorporate both intricate prints and wild textures. Their Fall 08 show looks to architecture for inspiration, particularly that of Frank Gehry and Norman Foster. Amazing hats provided by Stephen Jones.

There's so much going on in each outfit - lots of bumpy textures, interesting color combinations - but the shapes are classic. And the hats remind me of rocks, especially the first one.

The patterns and color combinations are really spectacular. The third item reminds me of painted pottery or Mary Engelbreit, but in a good way.

Three of the more "conservative" looks in the show. The leather(?) jacket on the first model has an incredible shape and would look equally chic over skinny jeans. The unusual striping on the second piece transforms an otherwise ordinary dress shape.
