Someone Needs a New PR Firm

This is the exact contents of a press release I received this morning regarding Anne Bowen's doing something or other (a coat? a robe?) for the Warren Tricomi Salon at the Plaza. Both the salon and the designer can well afford a PR firm that has better writing skills than the one that produced this collection of run-on sentences. And they certainly have more quotable celebrity clientele than drunken hobag Tara Reid! She must be tired from walking the red carpet for seven years, don't you think?

Last but certainly not least (and possibly most offensive of all) - there's no apostrophe in "martinis."

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
EVENINGWEAR DESIGNER ANNE BOWEN FOR THE NEW CHIC LUXURIOUS WARREN TRICOMI SALON AT THE PLAZA NEW YORK

To add that extra panache to the new Warren Tricomi Salon at the Plaza Hotel and Residences, Edward Tricomi and Joel Warren, the handsomely chic owners with style harkening back to the rat pack and Sinatra, wooed evening wear designer Anne Bowen into creating something luscious and stylish, yet functional and durable all in one. Anne Bowen, inspired by the history of the Plaza, Brigitte Bardot and Belle de Jour film star Catherine Denueve, has created the ultimate evening coat in a robe with her vision for their ever so gorgeous clientele to slip on once they arrive in their new digs on the second floor of the Plaza. In silky, cream charmeuse lined in Turks and Caicos blue, iridescent organza, the shimmering, swing silhouette robes with open neck line, large pearlized button makes one confused, you aren’t sure whether you should wear them out or if the party is already started at the Warren Tricomi Salon.

Renown for their hair styles on the catwalks of fashion week, Edward and Joel have been the creative team for the hair at the Anne Bowen runway shows and sometimes working their magic all together for celebrities walking the red carpet for over 7 years. Tara Reid even said to Bowen once, “they really do amazing blondes.” Anne Bowen having graced the red carpet herself at the Goldenglobes, Oscars and Cannes film festivals for E! Entertainment television giving her fashion commentary, tips and taste critique as well as having dressed celebrities such as Catherine Zeta Jones, Beyonce, Debra Messing, Kim Cattrall and Jessica Alba in addition to having sold to the top retailers in the world is busy launching her Bespoke by Bowen for Men suitings, shirts and accessories with a celebrity clientele out of the gate.

Bowen having been keeping a low profile recently has found creativity in additional new areas. Bowen is looking forward to her luxury property, international interior design projects as well and is truly a fan of the talented duo and what they have done to create a modern elegance in the new salon. Architect Dominic Kozerski creates sleek and textured elements, which exude sophistication. Michael Borrico, president of Certified of NY is calling the salon a gem in their portfolio.

“It is a joy to work with real men who know how to make your vision and fantasy a reality and do it everyday for women. See you at the Plaza, bring on the martini’s, shaken definitely not stirred.” says Bowen.
