Yesterday, both Alberto Rodriguez and Manuel Mendez showed their Spring/Summer 2009 collections in Mexico City.
Rodriguez used a lot of bright colors, showed a lot of gowns; these two were my favorites. The army green one looks like something Jerell Scott might do, but with far more restraint.
Rodriguez also had wedding gowns in his collection. The multi-tiered one is rather gaudyin a modern Hollywood-starlet sort of way. I can see Christina Aguilera in it, voluminous headdress and all.
Mendez' wedding gown is gorgeous! His gowns were pretty fab also. And look - a model with meat on her bones! Boobs at least!
