JLo the No-Show

I found an amusing article on People magazine's Web site regarding Jennifer Lopez and her recent busy weekend.

"Turning on her famous work ethic, the singer-actress biked, swam and ran to a fifth place finish in the celebrity women's category at the Nautica Malibu Triathlon on Sunday – then hopped a jet to New York for the party that night."

You mean the work ethic that had her drop out of judging last Friday's Project Runway finale because of a "foot injury?" She couldn't sit on her ample ass and watch models on a runway but she could ride a bike and run two days later? She had apparently been training for the triathlon for a while. I dare say she knew she would have a scheduling conflict when she agreed to attend the PR show. Why take on more projects than one can handle? It just makes Jenny look bad when she has to back out, especially after lying making excuses about why.

The article goes on to say, "pulling off the big bash – and keeping it a secret – took a bit of sneaky maneuvering and required Lopez to use her honed acting skills, she tells PEOPLE. "

"Honed" acting skills? I didn't know she possessed any acting skills at all. Learn something new everyday. How do these people become famous?
