Joan decides to update her will using a video camera. Meanwhile, Melissa gets terrible stomach pains – that lead everyone to believe she may be pregnant. And Joan reveals that she’s bought a house, BUT she wants to give it to Jason and Melissa, because she’d rather stay in Melissa’s house…leaving Melissa less than thrilled. AND Jason lets everyone know he has a big announcement! Will he finally pop the question?

Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?
Joan and Melissa shop for houses and lingerie together (an obvious combo!). And Joan finally gets some alone time with her grandson, Cooper, while Melissa and Jason take off for a romantic weekend. Cooper invites friends for a sleepover, and things get crazy when Brad Garret calls and wants Joan to sub-in for him for a last-minute comedy gig, leaving Conrad and Lynne in charge…and leaving Melissa angry. Joan insists the sleepover went off without a hitch. Melissa says that’s not the point. Will mother and daughter make nice?

Tonight, on Joan & Melissa
Joan returns back to L.A. and patches it up with Melissa, who convinces Joan that it’s time to return to the dating world. Joan’s friends set her up a series of hilarious blind dates that include motorcycles, squid fishing and gun clubs. Joan, in turn, encourages Melissa to get engaged to Jason by offering an heirloom ring. Will Jason pop the question? Can Joan ride a motorcycle?

Tonight, on Joan & Melissa....
After last week’s disastrous blowup, Joan returns to New York to appear on Late Night with David Letterman, while Melissa resumes life without Joan. Cooper misses Joan, and deep down inside, so does Melissa. Can mother and daughter forgive and forget?

Tonight on Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?
Anyway, after weeks of smooth(ish) sailing, tonight’s episode takes a turn for the dramatic. Here’s what’s happening: When Joan reveals a little too much to a certain online gossip columnist, Melissa is not pleased with her mom's loose lips. Plus, Joan and Melissa's constant bickering gets to be too much, and they decide to bring in some professional help. Impressions and fights ensue. Will their relationship ever be the same?

Tonight on Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?
Eager to get her mother to exercise more, Melissa somehow convinces Joan to take a stroll through the neighborhood with the dogs. As they walk, Melissa points out a house being built and says it might be right for Joan. Joan quips that when she finds the right house, she’ll know immediately. Melissa also brings up the fact that Joan needs her own car. And the very next day, Joan brings home her brand-new red Mini-Cooper (in honor of her grandson, Cooper). Melissa is surprised...to say the least!
Later, Joan and Melissa’s friend Lynne discuss what Joan plans to do with "Uncle" Tommy’s ashes, Joan’s best friend for over 40 years, and Melissa’s godfather. Tommy even walked Melissa down the aisle. Joan, Lynne, and Cooper hop into the car on a mission to spread Tommy’s ashes all throughout his favorite spots in Los Angeles: the Beverly Hills Hotel, Rodeo Drive, and Judy Garland’s house. When the current owner of Judy’s house threatens to call the cops, Joan, Lynne, and Cooper take off. West Hollywood is the final destination in Joan’s mission to spread Tommy’s ashes, at a bar called Hamburger Mary’s. Joan asks the receptive crowd if perhaps she could sprinkle a little bit of Tommy on the dance floor and they can all celebrate with a conga line.

Joan, the ultimate New Yorker, has a glamorous apartment, her own jewelry company, and at night, she performs at comedy clubs. But she misses her family. So Joan makes the life-altering decision to move to California to be closer to Melissa and her grandson, Cooper. Meanwhile, in Malibu, California, Melissa has a great kid, and a loving and solid relationship with her live-in boyfriend, Jason (that Joan doesn't know about!) Will Joan and Melissa make it work?
