Fall 2009 Fashion Week - Diane Von Furstenberg
Diane Von Furstenberg's Fall 2009 collection, "Nomad," is a melange of earthy patterns and textures, from leopardskin to camouflage, in fabrics mimicking Italian knitwear and Persian carpets. Leggings are featured heavily, as are fabulous pom-pom-bedecked hats and bags. Coats and jackets are all gorgeous and I'm betting this collection will sell extremely well.

The pièce de résistance is this almost-liquid silver gown, one of only two pieces of eveningwear in the show.

Spring 09 Fashion Week - Diane Von Furstenberg
DVF's collection for Spring '09 was entitled "Rock Goddess" but "Hippy Dippy" might have been more appropriate as Ms Von Furstenberg channelled the late 60s and early 70s with her collection of bright prints.

There were also some neutrals in the collection, particularly white, but all had a retro feel.
These were my least favorite of the collection - a little too colorful, even somewhat ugly.
DVF's accessories were interesting, and just as colorful as her garments.
