Christina Aguilera is a complete disgrace.
Not only did she butcher our National Anthem with her show-offy and completely un-necessary caterwauling, but she also fucked up the words. The bitch has a voice, but she never has learned how to sing.
Next time, Miss Thang, practice.
And a note on her appearance: Why did she borrow one of Laura Bush's suits for the performance? It was too conservative, and too tight on her ass. Why is she always wearing black these days? Doesn't she realize it's aging her...and it's not figure flattering if it doesn't fit. Also - can't she afford better extensions than that pile of dried-out straw on her head?
The whole thing was embarrassment to her, to the country, and to the Super Bowl. Honestly - why can't they pick someone who will honor our country rather than make a mockery of it? Thankfully it only lasts a few painful minutes in reality; the memory, however, will last forever.

Burlesque Madrid Premiere
What's wrong with this photo? Sixty-something Cher can still get away with wearing mini skirts, ok, I get that. But why is 20-something Christina Aguilera wearing such an unflattering below-the-knee hem length? And why is she wearing yet another black dress to a Burlesque premiere?

Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Spring 2010: Christian Siriano
Although he annoyed me mightily on Project Runway, Season 4 winner Christian Siriano seems to be making a name for himself. And I'm happy to say his style is maturing, except for the silly hats. Sure, there are still ruffles and skinny pants, but there are also beautiful jackets and a rather striking volcano print in two shades. Here are my favorites - they are really quite beautiful.

Perfume Pushers
This weekend, both Jessica Simpson and Christina Aguilara launched their new fragrances. Jessica's is "Fancy," and from sniffing a magazine strip, I'd say it was decent enough for a department store fragrance aimed at teenyboppers. Or whoever actually cares about Jessica and her career. Christina's scent is called "Inspire," no doubt meant to inspire children to load on the eyeliner and act like a tart. I haven't smelled it, so can't give an opinion one way or the other.
I thought Jessica's coat and hat were pretty darn cute and appropriate for the holiday season. Not so sure about the outfit underneath, which is kind of a tacky mess.
