The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards, Part the First

The Grammys are always a bit trashier than the other awards shows, and so much more fun to rip on!

Nicole Kidman (in Jean Paul Gaultier Couture) looks pretty amazing...nothing to rip here.

However, Miley Cyrus's Roberto Cavalli is waaaay too mature for her. Isn't she still a teenager? Then why is she wearing one of Sharon Stone's rejects? Perhaps if it were a mini.

Speaking of minis, Jennifer Lopez is really aging well. I think she's looking better in her 40s than she did in her 30s. Here she's showing off her gams in Emilio Pucci.

Cyndi Lauper does "edgy" and "rock-n-roll" while still managing to dress age-appropriately. But she's not Cher.

Kim Kardashian in Kaufmanfranco. She looks like a blow-up doll.

I wore almost this exact dress to my eighth grade graduation. In 1979. Jewel played it a little safe and matronly, but she's not exactly a show-off glamour-puss.

Heidi Klum looks hot in a shiny and tight Julien MacDonald. Honestly, even when she looks bad, she looks great.

Rhianna, still sporting hair in honor of her muse, Ronald McDonald, looks like someone took a spray can of whipped cream and piped circles around her body. It's actually Jean Paul Gaultier Couture. I suppose its fine for a modestly-talented individual such as herself because her music doesn't exactly inspire water-cooler conversation.

The skeletal remains of Jada Pinkett Smith were also in attendance.

Because of recent content theft, I am forced to add this new statement to the end of my posts:
