21st Annual GLAAD Awards

This year's GLAAD Media Awards honored Cynthia Nixon & Joy Behar. Ms Behar, of the View, won for her contributions to increasing the visibility of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people. Ms Nixon received the Vito Russo Award, given to an openly lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender media professional who has promoted equal rights.

And the reality show contestants were out in force.

Model Ashley Shaw, in Malan Breton, attended with designer Malan Breton (Project Runway).

Maya Luz, of the current season of Project Runway, showed up with a cannonball? purse.

Make Me a Supermodel's Ronnie Kroell, here with Taylor Proffitt, wore satin jammies tailored into a suit. Seriously, I can forgive the jacket, but the pants are too much.

Where the heck are the cameras on this red carpet? Rosie Perez looks even stumpier shorter than she really is. But I love her dress. I just wish she had worn lipstick.

Drag queen Sahara Davenport, from the current season of RuPaul's Drag Race, poses with Vogue Evolution (from America's Best Dance Crew).

Emperor Tony Monteleone and Empress Ann Tique. Now *that* is a drag queen name. Have you noticed the lame names of the younger queens these days? Tyra Sanchez? Morgan McMichaels? Nicole Paige Brooks? Jessica Wild? They sound more like soap opera characters or writers of cheesy romance novels.
