20th Annual GLAAD Media Awards

The GLAAD Media Awards were held on Saturday the 18th, and there was a surprising lack of fabulosity on the red carpet. Here are a few of the standouts.

Alan Cumming, looking rather dashing in a grey 3-piece suit.

Jennifer Beals really looks terrific. Not all that much changed from her Flashdance days.  Love the happy sunny dress on her, too.

I think Julia Louis-Dreyfus looks kinda smashing in that orange dress, with the matching lipstick.

Kathy Griffin was presented the Vanguard award, which is given to media professionals who, through their work, have increased the visibility and understanding of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.

I'm still contemplating her dress.  I like it, but somehow it makes her head seem to big for her body. And I think the color combination would work better on a brunette. Or on much darker skin.

Ah, Nichelle Nichols - what is it that Coco Chanel once said, "before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take one thing off” ? Or in your case, two or three....
